Joanne Gustafson

TISKILWA — Joanne M. Gustafson, 86, of Tiskilwa died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020.

Joanne was born June 14, 1933, in Troy Grove, the daughter of William and Dorothy (Edwards) Erickson. She married Russell Gustafson on April 12, 1952, in Colorado Springs, Colo. He preceded her in death on June 29, 1994.

Joanne graduated from Tiskilwa High School. She retired from Harper-Wyman.

Joanne was a member of the Tiskilwa Community Church. She enjoyed going to all of her grandchildren's sporting events.

Surviving are five children, Jane (John) Yeazel of Princeton, Julie (Joe) Bell of Princeton, Janet (Michael) Moats of Princeton, Mike (Mary Jo) Gustafson of Princeton and Todd (Paula) Gustafson of Wyanet; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Karen Clark; a brother, Donald Erickson; and one brother in infancy.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton with Deacon John Murphy officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Bloom Cemetery in Tiskilwa.

Visitation will be prior to the service, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the funeral home.
