AURORA – Marmion Academy is hosting the 2020 Mr. Marmion contest at 7 p.m. March 6 at the school's Alumni Hall, 1000 Butterfield Road, Aurora. The event is a talent and performance show that benefits the family of a local girl with spina bifida, according to a news release from the school.
Students will compete in four events and a panel of faculty judges will determine the winner, the release stated.
This year’s Mr. Marmion contestants are: seniors Ben Okolita of Geneva, Ben Riner of Geneva, and Anthony Tinerella of North Aurora; juniors Ryan Fitzgerald of West Chicago, Collin Roin of North Aurora, and Anthony Standish of Aurora; sophomores JT Gollinger of Naperville, Adrian Ruiz of Aurora, and Kevin Schoeberle of Woodridge; and freshmen Alex Nitchoff of Lemont and Isaiah Smith of Malta.
All proceeds raised through the event will be donated to benefit the family of Mallory T., a young local girl with Spina bifida, as they face mounting medical expenses.
