Cheri Ehret, 60, of Ottawa passed away Feb. 23, 2020, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Crossbridge Community Church with Pastor Kevin Donoho officiating.
Visit-ation will be 5-7:30 p.m. Thurs-day in Glad-felter-Roetker Funeral Home.
Cheri was born July 1, 1959, in Modesto, Calif. She married Larry Ehret in 1983 at Zion Lutheran Church. Together they have a daughter, Stephanie (John) Atchley of Marseilles; a son, Luke (Mandie) Ehret of Ottawa, and grandchildren, Wyatt Atchley, Tommy Ehret, and Henry Atchley. She is also survived by her father Cliff (Linda) Collins, and her mother-in-law Alice Ehret.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ozzie and Vine Rorabaugh, and father-in-law, Larry Ehret, Sr.
Cheri was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church, where she led both the youth group and taught Sunday school. Most recently she attended and became active at Crossbridge Community Church. Prior to retiring, Cheri was a part of the Wallace Grade School Family. She spent her life serving others. Cheri was an avid gardener and animal lover. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed the yearly fishing trips to Red Cedar Lake, Wisconsin. Her No. 1 priority was her family whom she loved very much. She enjoyed the years watching her grandchildren who affectionately called her "Gee Gee." She is loved by many and will be deeply missed.
