ROCKFORD – Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will hold a rally Tuesday in Rockford, a week before the March 17 primary.
The Vermont senator will be at the Coronado Performing Arts Center, 314 N. Main St., at 12:30 p.m.
This event is free, and tickets are not required, but RSVPs are encouraged at shawurl.com/3cjt because entrance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 11 a.m.
Ahead of the Rockford event, Sanders will rally at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Grant Park, 235 S Columbus Drive in Chicago.
Sanders’ previous trips to Illinois have included a Chicago rally that drew 12,500 people.
