4-H, Extension limit summer camp participation

Bureau County 4-H seeks Tech Changemakers to volunteer, teach others
PRINCETON — If you're between ages 13 and 18, love technology and are interested in new opportunities, 4-H Tech Changemakers may interest you.
Participants can learn new technologies, get training in leadership and public speaking, and have an opportunity to help others. Bureau County 4-H will provide the tools and training needed to serve as a digital ambassador in the community, teaching others how to make the most of broadband access and digital technologies. The project is a component of the partnership between National 4-H Council and Microsoft, which aims to close the connectivity gap in rural areas.
Those who are interested can attend an open house 6-7 p.m. Thursday, March 26 at the University of Illinois Extension office at 850 Thompson St., Princeton. Current enrollment in 4-H is not required to be a part of the program.
Preregistration is requested at (815) 875-2878 or email 4-H Program Coordinator Danielle Gapinski at des85@illinois.edu with the participant's name.
