High school boys basketball: IHSA lifting live streaming restrictions for sectional and supersectional games

The IHSA is lifting restrictions on live streaming for sectional and supersectional games, an IHSA spokesperson said Thursday.

Games that are being live streamed via the NFHS Network will still have a fee. The IHSA is waiving the rights fees so schools or hosts can stream those games that the NFHS network can't cover.

State finals games from Peoria are available on TV through the Quincy Media IHSA TV Network, check IHSA.org for your local listings. State games are also streaming at the NFHS Network.

The lifted restriction on streaming follows the IHSA's decision earlier in the day Thursday to limit attendance at games to 60 spectators per team.

Editor's note: If you are a participating school or host school, please let us know if you are live streaming your game at sports@nwherald.com or shammond@shawmedia.com.
