The Illinois Gaming Board has suspended operations at all 10 casinos in the state – including the Hollywood Casino in Aurora – for 14 days beginning Monday because of the coronavirus outbreak.

The Illinois Gaming Board has suspended operations at all 10 casinos in the state – including those in Aurora, Elgin and Joliet – for 14 days beginning Monday because of the coronavirus outbreak.

"The public health of patrons, casino employees, IGB staff, and others is of paramount importance," the Illinois Gaming Board said in a statement. "The board is continuously monitoring developments and will update licensees and the public as frequently as possible."
