FIRST TEAM
Hannah Baker, Fieldcrest
Year: Senior
Position: Guard
Season highlights: Baker was a strong leader for a balanced Fieldcrest squad that was the best in the area. Baker averaged 9.3 points per game to go along with 3.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.6 steals per game to help the Knights to a program-record 28 wins, a share of the Heart of Illinois Conference title and a regional championship. She was honorable mention All-HOIC.
Amellia Bromenschenkel, Mendota
Year: Junior
Position: Guard
Season highlights: The repeat NT Girls Basketball Player of the Year was stellar all around for the Lady Trojans as she led the area in scoring (25.7 per game), rebounds (12.5) and steals (4.1) and was top five in assists (2.6) and blocks (1). The unanimous All-Big Northern Conference and AP Class 2A Second-Team All-State pick helped the Lady Trojans to 21 wins.
Elizabeth Browder, Earlville
Year: Sophomore
Position: Guard
Season highlights: Due to injury, Browder had to step into Earlville's lead scoring role, and she excelled. She averaged 15.7 points per game, which ranked third in the area, to go along with 6.8 rebounds — eighth in the area — 2 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.6 blocks per game. The unanimous All-Little Ten Conference selection helped the Lady Red Raiders to 20 wins.
Hanah Hart, Hall
Year: Senior
Position: Guard
Season highlights: Hart was a double-double machine in her final season with the Lady Red Devils as she finished with 21. She was second in the area in scoring (18.5 points per game) and rebounding (10.6), led the area in blocks (2.1) and averaged 2.2 steals and 1.7 assists. Hart was unanimous All-Three Rivers Conference East Division and IBCA Class 2A Third-Team All-State.
Rhiannon Skoog, La Salle-Peru
Year: Senior
Position: Forward
Season highlights: Skoog was a force down low for the Lady Cavaliers but could also step outside and hit a 3-pointer. She finished fourth in the area in scoring (13.7 points per game), sixth in rebounds (7.4) and second in blocks (1.5). Skoog, who was voted All-Interstate Eight Conference, helped L-P match the program record for wins in a season (17).
SECOND TEAM
Jaclyn Cinotte, Hall
Year: Junior
Position: Guard
Season highlights: Cinotte was a solid No. 2 scoring option for the Lady Red Devils as she averaged 11.5 points per game, which ranked sixth in the area. Cinotte also played tough defense as she ranked fifth in the area in steals (2.7). She was Second-Team All-Three Rivers Conference East Division.
Kenzie Coleman, Princeton
Year: Senior
Position: Guard
Season highlights: Coleman could do it all for the Tigers on both ends of the floor. She ranked fifth in the area in scoring (11.5 points per game), while finishing second in assists (3.1) and third in steals (3).Coleman was named First-Team All-Three Rivers Conference East Division.
Brooklyn Ficek, La Salle-Peru
Year: Freshman
Position: Guard
Season highlights: Ficek made a splash in her first high school season by stepping in as the Lady Cavaliers' point guard. She dished out 2.4 assists per game, which tied for eighth in the area, and also proved a capable scorer at 10.6 points per game, which was eighth in the area. She was voted All-Interstate Eight Conference.
Sophia Harris, Putnam County
Year: Junior
Position: Forward
Season highlights: Harris was a top-notch inside scoring threat for the Lady Panthers as she average 10.6 points per game, which ranked seventh in the area. She also contributed 5.3 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1 assist per game. Harris was voted First-Team All-Tri-County Conference.
Alexis Olson, Earlville
Year: Sophomore
Position: Forward
Season highlights: Olson was a reliable No. 2 scoring option for the Lady Red Raiders as she averaged 9 points per game. She also was a force on the boards as she pulled down 7.7 rebounds per game, which ranked fifth in the area. Olson contributed 2.3 steals and 2 assists per game.
THIRD TEAM
Alyx Carls, Fieldcrest
Year: Senior
Position: Guard
Season highlights: The Second-Team All-Heart of Illinois Conference pick played a key role in Fieldcrest's successful season, which included 28 wins and a regional title. She averaged 7.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists — tied for second in the area — and 1.6 steals.
Renn Ludford, St. Bede
Year: Sophomore
Position: Guard
Season highlights: Ludford was called up to the varsity partway through the season and helped turn the Lady Bruins' season around, culmination in a regional title. She was second in the area in steals (3.3) and also averaged 7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists.
Ashlyn May, Fieldcrest
Year: Freshman
Position: Guard
Season highlights: May made an impact in her first prep season as she was top 10 in the area in scoring (9.6 points per game) and steals (2.5). She also contributed 3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game as she helped the Knights to conference and regional titles.
Taylor Quiram, Princeton
Year: Junior
Position: Forward
Season highlights: Quiram is a threat to score from all over the floor for Princeton. She average 8.4 points per game and finished third in the area in rebounds (8.2) and blocks (1.2). She was Second-Team All-Three Rivers Conference East Division.
Kyra Stoller
Year: Sophomore
Position: Guard
Season highlights: Stoller was a steady presence at point guard for BV. She led the team in scoring (8.1 points per game), ranked fourth in the area in assists (3) and averaged 5.2 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game. She was Second-Team All-Three Rivers Conference East Division.
