At least one La Grange eatery is striving to bring the community together and help its employees as it faces the repercussions of the coronavirus.
The foks at Nicksons Eatery, 30 S. La Grange Road, are selling "Lift Up La Grange" T-shirts on the restaurant's website, www.nicksoneatery.com. Gift cards may also be purchased via the website.
The Lift Up La Grange T-shirts, which include the wording “La Grange Small Businesses United Against COVID-19,” cost $25.
“We are humbled by the outpouring of support we have received thus far,” the owners of the
Proceeds from T-shirt sales and any donations to the virual tip jar will go toward financial relief for restaurant employees affected by the circumstances associated with the virus.
“We’ll make it through this, but only together. Thanks for your support,” the website stated.
