Polo prepares for new concession stand at pool

The concession stand adjacent to the Polo swimming pool is no more. The Polo Lions Club, the city and along the Park District took the building down recently to make way for a new one. (Earleen Hinton)

POLO – The Polo Lions Club, along with the city and the Park District, have taken the concession stand down at the Polo Pool.

The three entities will be working together to construct a new building for the pool. The trucks and equipment for the tear down were provided by Bocker Excavating, Bills Excavating and Jim Ports.

Polo Lions members volunteered for the project as well.
