McHenry County Board member Suzanne Ness sets virtual town hall

McHenry County Board member Suzanne Ness will host a virtual town hall meeting from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday to update residents about aspects related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ness invited any county resident to the online meeting, during which residents will hear about resources available in the county and how to stay ahead of transmissions, as well as issues in the upcoming months.

Ness, who recently won the Democratic nomination for Illinois' 66th House District, also will take time to update residents about where the county is in terms of caring for children a year after the AJ Freund tragedy. She wants to talk about what has changed, what is being done and what can be done.
