Rock Falls chamber creates how-to-Zoom video

Rock Falls Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Bethany Bland will walk participants through video chatting and hosting a "family dinner" via a Zoom meeting at 5 p.m. today on the chamber's Facebook page. The video will be available on Facebook and YouTube after that. (SVM file)

ROCK FALLS –Rock Falls Chamber President and CEO Bethany Bland created an online tutorial that walks viewers through video chatting and hosting a "family dinner" via a Zoom meeting.

"Being separated has been hard for our community. We all want to do something practical to help. About 3 weeks ago, I taught our 85-year-old grandma how to video chat. I thought, if we can chat with her for Easter, we can teach anyone to do this, and we should."

The video is available on Facebook and on the Chamber's YouTube channel, links to which will be shared on Facebook.
