ST. CHARLES – Autumn Leaves, a residential memory care facility, held a 7-year anniversary celebration April 2, according to a news release.
“Our philosophy is that there is a rich life to be lived after a dementia diagnosis,” said Shannon Stebbins, director of sales and marketing for Autumn Leaves of St. Charles, in the news release. “Our unique community design and personalized caregiving practices which are specifically tailored for those living with dementia have made an incredibly positive impact in the St. Charles community. It was especially important for us to mark this special occasion with joy to offset the somberness of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
The virtual party extended to video chats between family members, residents and staff. The event also included games, singing and other fun activities during the day-long anniversary celebration.
“We look forward to the day when we can celebrate with all our families and extended team members in person,” said St. Charles Executive Director, Carolina Mendoza in the release.
