Dixon Fire Department called to shed fire

DIXON – Dixon City Fire Department was dispatched to Stoney Point Road at 10:06 p.m. Sunday, for a reported shed fire.

Firefighters extinguished fully-engulfed chicken coop with an extension into a nearby shed and large tree. Crews remained on scene until 11:30 p.m.completing overhaul.

Dixon City Fire Department was assisted on scene by the Dixon Rural Fire Department.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
