Kane County Sheriff's Office continues to support community's needs during pandemic

Hain launches 'COVID-19 Community Needs' form on website

ST. CHARLES – Kane County Sheriff Ron Hain has launched a COVID-19 Community Needs form to help residents during the pandemic. The form can be found at the office's website at www.kanesheriff.com.

According to a news release, residents who may be quarantined due to their increased susceptibility may request additional support from sheriff’s deputies by completing the short electronic form.

Examples of some of these requests include food support, well-being checks, care packages and any other personal-need impact COVID-19 has placed on the quarantined individual. The Sheriff’s Office will then coordinate with our community and governmental partners to fulfill these requests, the release stated.

Over the last three months, deputies have provided additional support for the homeless, delivered senior care packages and networked with over 70 businesses in Kane County to gain their compliance with the Governor’s Executive Orders.

Other support options include Kane County’s 2-1-1 program and Kane County Health Department resources, the release stated.
