The P.E.O. STAR Scholarship for the 2019-20 academic year recently was awarded to Tessa Harbecke, a senior at Sycamore High School. The scholarship was presented at the SHS Senior Awards ceremony by Nancy Leifheit, president of Chapter KJ.

Harbecke, the daughter of Mark and Jenny Harbecke, was recommended for this scholarship by Chapter KJ of Sycamore. Harbecke will attend Baylor University in Waco, Texas, this fall, majoring in accounting. She was the valedictorian of her class.
