La Salle pool to open in Illinois’ Phase 4

La Salle will be open its pool during Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois plan, Mayor Jeff Grove announced during Monday night’s City Council meeting.

The earliest Phase 4 could happen is June 26, but that date is not a guarantee.

More information on a set opening date and hours of operation will be forthcoming, Grove said.

Phase 4 does not allow for groups over 50 people, so the city will come up with the logistics to manage that statute, Grove said.

The city is also going to hold summer parks and recreation programs. Each camp will follow CDC guidelines and practice social distancing.
