Shorewood to host fireworks show on July 4

The Village of Shorewood will host a fireworks show on July 4.

Traditionally, fireworks have been one of the highlights of the Shorewood Crossroads Festival, which is hosted by the Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce.

Unfortunately, the 2020 Crossroads Festival has been cancelled.

The fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m. in the Towne Center and last approximately 15 minutes.

Due to safety distancing required for fireworks, as well as social distancing requirements, residents are encouraged to view the fireworks from home.

The show will feature only high aerial fireworks to maximize visibility for all neighborhoods.
Limited parking will be available at Village Hall. No one may enter the safety zone.

Wynstone Drive will also be closed to traffic from 9 to 10 p.m.through the end of the show.

The show will also be livestreamed to the village’s Facebook page..
