The Joliet Drivers Service Facility at 201 Joyce Road will reopen June 30.
The Joliet facility closed June 20 because an employee tested for COVID-19.
On Saturday, Dave Drucker, spokesman for the Secretary of State, said the facility was closed "in an abundance of caution."
On Monday, Drucker said he had good news to share.
"The employee had limited contact with the public," Drucker said.
Drucker said the employee will quarantine for two weeks and the facilities will be cleaned according to federal guidelines.
The Joliet facility is the fourth in the state to be closed due to COVID-19, Drucker said.
While the Joliet facility is closed, drivers are encouraged to visit the next two closest sites.
The Morris facility is located at 425 E. Route 6. The Naperville facility is located at 931 W. 7th St. Ste. 161.
