Package theft

Yorkville Police are investigating the theft of a package from a home at 1:45 p.m. June 18 in the 2900 block of Old Glory Drive. The package, valued at $53.40, was taken from the front porch of the home. The investigation is ongoing.

Retail theft

Yorkville police are investigating a report of retail theft that occurred June 19 in the 1600 block of North Beecher Road. Police said the suspect walked past the final point of sale with about $300 worth of merchandise.
