PRINCETON — Princeton’s Hallmark store is under new ownership.
Brandy’s Hallmark became Fresh Finds Hallmark last Wednesday, July 1. The store will retain its employees.
New owner Britni Dvorak also owns Dixon’s Hallmark store and said when Brandy’s owners approached her about buying the store she said she was 100% on board.
“It was meant to be,” Dvorak said. “l always wanted to have a second store and I love Princeton, because it has such great shops and events going on there.”
Dvorak said in the immediate future, customers will see a big remodel and a lot of new products, including an expanded baby and kids department.
“Not many people realize it, but only one-third of the products carried at Hallmark stores are Hallmark brand. We handpick everything else in the store so I’m really excited to bring in a lot of great products. That’s why the name is Fresh Finds Hallmark,” she said.
For those who have inquired about holiday ornament reservations, Dvorak says no worries — collectors can still order and reserve ornaments.
“I really want to grow that at this location,” she said. " People can pick up things here or the Dixon store and I’ll be here a lot more so there’s going to be a lot of product moving back and forth."
“I’m really looking forward to being part of the community here,” Dvorak added. “There’s a great chamber, and a lot of great events here that I can’t wait to be a part of.
