LEMONT – The village of Lemont offices reopened to the public July 6 with limited hours and services from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Village Hall visitors are asked to enter through the door adjacent to Village Hall at 416 Main St., and exit through the Village Hall door at 418 Main St..
Visitors are encouraged to come alone, if possible, with lobbies reconfigured to accommodate social distancing. Visitors are required to wear a face covering and asked to use available hand sanitizer stations before approaching the service counters.
Those with individual attention needed are encouraged to call in advance and schedule an appointment. Meeting rooms are not available to the public. Residents are encouraged to continue to use online payment systems, including for vehicle sticker purchases, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Usage of the drop boxes located inside the village hall and police department vestibules is strongly encouraged.
