Princeton native Chris Waca returns to Illinois to join Ottawa staff

OTTAWA — Former Kewanee head football coach Chris Waca will join the staff at Ottawa this fall.

The Princeton native will coach the line and teach math.

Waca had been head coach at Falcon (Col.) High School the past two years. He was head coach at Kewanee from 2009-12.

He entertained head coaching opportunities in the Illinois valley before settling on Ottawa.

Waca and his wife, Jennifer, and, their newborn son, Lincoln, will be moving back to his childhood home in Princeton.
