Kendall County election officials have announced early voting dates for the Nov. 3 general election.

According to the Kendall County Clerk's office, the first day of early voting begins 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at the county office building, 111 W. Fox St. in Yorkville. Early voting begins 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Oswego Village Hall, 100 Parkers Mill in Oswego, and at the Oswego Public Library District's Montgomery Campus Library, 1111 Reading Drive in Montgomery. Early voting begins 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 19 at Plano City Hall on North James Street in Plano.

Kendall County Clerk Debbie Gillette said this is the first time an early voting location has been set up in Montgomery. She said the clerk's office just wanted to provide an additional place within the county and library staff had mentioned to election officials they would be able to host early voting this time around.

“So we took advantage of that,” Gillette said.

The early voting schedule for the Yorkville location is 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday from Sept. 24 through Oct. 16. From Oct. 19 through Nov. 2, the schedule changes to 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

For the Oswego and Montgomery locations, early voting times for Oct. 12 through Oct. 29 are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. For the Plano location, early voting times for Oct. 19 through Oct. 29 are scheduled for 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for Saturday, Oct. 24.

Gillette had said the office will send out vote by mail ballots to those who have already applied for them on Sept. 24 as well. She had said those participating in vote by mail can either send their ballots through the mail or drop off their vote by mail ballots off at the clerk's office within the county office building in Yorkville.
