Fox Valley Orthopedics expands to meet growing need

GENEVA – Fox Valley Orthopedics is Geneva is expanding their services with five new surgeons who will provide care in the Barrington, Algonquin and Elgin areas, according to a news release.

The surgeons, formerly with the Midwest Bone and Joint Institute (MBJI), include Sports Medicine Surgeons Dr. Michael Kogan, Dr. James Seeds, and Dr. Joshua Alpert; Joint Surgeon Dr. Vincent Cannestra; and, Spine Surgeon Dr. Anthony Savino, the release stated.

Barrington/Elgin/Algonquin area residents will continue to receive orthopedic care, while also being able to take advantage of expanded orthopedic specialties and services, the release stated.

Fox Valley Orthopedics offers a state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgical Center, MRI and X-ray, OrthoFirst--an immediate care walk-in orthopedic clinic, in addition to a variety of specialties including joint replacement, foot and ankle, hand and wrist, spine, sports medicine and pain management.

“Fox Valley Orthopedics is excited to bring on five new orthopedic surgeons and expand our number of locations,” stated Fox Valley Orthopedics CEO Barry Mathews in the news release. “All of our surgeons are fellowship trained, board certified, and through the expansion we will be able to offer people more orthopedic specialties.”
