Prep Sports Roundup for Monday, Aug. 31: Camden Bonney, Oswego East golfers remain unbeaten

BOYS GOLF

Oswego East 164, Plainfield South 189

Camden Bonney carded a 39 to claim medalist honors for the Wolves, who improved to 5-0 on the season. Michael Hugelier followed with a 41, and Gavin Hjelle and Brandon Alecia each shot a 42.

Oswego 163, West Aurora 177, Romeoville 196

Riley Kiesewetter shot a 39 to earn medalist honors for the Panthers (4-0), who remained unbeaten. Riley O'Connor shot a 41, Jacob Kelly a 42 and Jack Rimington a 42 for Oswego.

Yorkville 158, Joliet Township 189, Plainfield East 189

Jonathan Waugh fired a 34 and Ryan Waugh shot a 36 to pace the Foxes past two Southwest Prairie Conference rivals at Blackberry Oaks. Ty Kukielka and Cole Yearsley both posted scores of 44.

Dwight 192, Newark/Serena 196

Newark/Serena's Cam Figgins was medalist with a 38 at Dwight. Dylan Cartwright had a 48, Carson Baker a 50 and Hudson Stafford a 59 to round out the team's scores.

GIRLS GOLF

Ottawa 193, Plano 197

Plano's Faith Malloy shot a 42 to take home medalist honors for the Reapers at Deer Park in Ottawa. Kendal Flodstrom carded a 46, Hayden Flodstrom a 53 and Elizabeth Busboom a 56.

Sandwich 205, Sycamore 217

Sandwich's Alijah Campbell carded a 42 to earn medalist honors, leading the Indians (3-1) to a dual meet win at Edgebrook.

"She keeps improving as the season goes on and is playing with a lot of confidence right now," Sandwich coach Stanley Guilinger said.

Grace Donahue shot a 50, Morgan Ross a 52 and Hanna Reedy a 61 for Sandwich.
