The Sycamore girls tennis team fell at home to Morris on Tuesday, 3-2.
Emma Hardin and Abby Bourdage won at No. 2 doubles for the Spartans (1-1), while Jordyn Block and Sophia Binder won at No. 3 doubles.
DeKalb falls to Rochelle: The Barbs lost at home, 4-3.
Aria Foster picked up a win 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, while Ilanie Castorena was a 6-2, 6-7 (4-7), 6-0 winner for the Barbs (2-4).
BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
Sycamore tops Morris: Sycamore had the top six finishers, topping Morris 15-48.
Jack Cambier finished with an 18:04 to lead the pack on the course at Sycamore High School. Ethan Solifsburg was 5 seconds behind, Caden Emmert finished with a 18:19, Nick Kocher added an 18:34, Alex Taylor posted an 18:53 and Donny Gramer finished in 18:57.
GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
Spartans with a win: Sycamore had seven of the top eight finishers to beat Morris, 18-45.
Lily Baker (21:27) and HayleyKing (22:50) finished first and second for Sycamore. Stella Reidl (23:25) was fourth, Grace Parks (23:43) fifth and Kyle Kness (24:02) sixth to round out the scoring for the Spartans.
BOYS GOLF
DeKalb falls to Naperville Central: The Barbs lost at home, 159-169.
Brett Paeglow and Danny Franzene each shot a 40 to pace the Barbs.
