Fieldcrest senior Koy Allen capped his prep golf career Tuesday by tying for eighth place at the Class 1A Tuscola at Ironhorse Golf Club.
Allen carded an 82.
He birdied No. 8 and No. 14 and recorded eight pars on the day.
GIRLS SWIMMING
La Salle-Peru co-op 86, Olympia 42
Peyton Heagy won four events to lead the Lady Cavaliers to a victory in Peru.
Heagy won the 200-yard freestyle (2:02.74), the 50 freestyle (26.41), the 100 freestyle (56.82) and the 100 breaststroke (1:12.64).
Nicole Pocivasek claimed the 100 backstroke in 1:10.2.
GIRLS TENNIS
St. Bede 3, Streator 2
The Lady Bruins swept the singles action en route to a victory in Streator.
Emily Szczepaniak won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, while Caroline Moskalewicz earned a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 2 singles.
At No. 2 doubles, Maddie McGunigal and Morgan Nawa claimed a 6-4, 6-1 victory.
CROSS COUNTRY
At Princeton
Logan Griggs (19:39), Daniel Dugosh (19:54) and James Sanchez (19:57) all placed in the top eight as St. Bede finished second in a Three Rivers Conference triangular.
Griggs placed fifth, Dugosh was sixth and Sanchez took eighth.
Orion won with 26 points followed by the Bruins (44) and Princeton (59).
Mack Williams led the Tigers as he finished third in 18:56.
In the girls race, Jenna Loftus placed second in 21:33 as Princeton finished second.
Orion won with 24 points followed by the Tigresses (41) and Lady Bruins (61).
Brady Mudge placed fifth in 22:07 to lead St. Bede.
At Spring Valley
Hall’s Yovanna Reyes ran a 24:58 to earn a victory in a dual against Bureau Valley.
Teammate Rayghan Haase placed third in 26:22.
Jillian Hulsing led the Storm as she finished second in 25:57.
In the boys race, BV’s Elijah House won in 18:44.
Hall’s Ed Arteaga (19:18) and Kaden Crowther (20:01) placed second and third, respectively.
At Rock Falls
Ty Connelly ran an 18:14 to place sixth Monday as the Mendota boys finished third in a triangular.
Rock Falls won with 30 points followed by East Dubuque (39) and Mendota (51).
In the girls race, Jamie Dooley paced MHS by placing 10th in 25:15.
