LETTER: Oregon Lions Club members say thanks

To the Editor:

Oregon Lions sold 600 pork chops at their drive-thru pork chop sandwich sale Oct. 3 at SuperValu parking lot. They wish to thank everyone who helped make it such a successful event.

The Oregon McDonald's continues to support Oregon Lions and donated 400 buns. Jim Kaufman of SuperValu, provided the outside space for the sandwich sale as well as donating the plastic bags used to deliver food. Jim’s meat manager, Terry Davis, needs to be thanked for providing an excellent quality pork that he cuts into generous slices for the sandwiches. Lastly, the members of the public who came out to buy the sandwiches and support Lions charities. Thank you to everyone.
