Cross country regional at St. Bede

Putnam Country’s Joey Twardowski runs at the St. Bede Class 1A regional boys cross country meet Saturday at St. Bede Saturday. He placed 47th with a time of 19:14 to lead the Panthers. Also for PC, Wyatt Grimshaw was 79th (20:54), Wes Grimshaw was 103rd (27:22) and Roman Mack was 104th (27:29.66). Amboy-LaMoille-Ohio won its first regional championship in school history, scoring 50 points to easily outdistance runner-up Sterling Newman (92). The top five teams and top five individuals advance to this week’s Seneca Sectional.
