LETTER: Thanks to all for successful fundraiser

To the Editor:

The Dixon Evening Lions want to thank all of you who supported our annual rose sale that supports scholarships for Dixon students.

A special recognition to Dee Dee Morgan and her staff of Flowers Etc. in preparing the roses for delivery. We also would like to recognize all the school building principals and their secretaries for allowing us to use their facilities to deposit roses for their staff. We appreciate the support of all the employers who purchased roses for their employees in order to show their appreciation for their extra work during the pandemic.

Last, but not least, the individual purchasers who bought to delight their spouses during the Sweetest Day weekend. May the recipients of the roses thoroughly enjoy them.
