Mike Judkins of Mt. Morris and his family were one of 36 people who decided to get tested for COVID-19 at a mobile drive-thru testing event in Polo on Tuesday.

“My wife tested positive the other day, she has mild symptoms, so we decided to come and get tested,” he said after completing the tests provide by Aunt Martha’s Health & Wellness. “Some of us had runny noses and we don’t know if it is just colds...or not.”

Angela Blunt, mobile health manager for Aunt Martha’s, and co-worker Cecilia Herrer checked people in and provided them with the nasal swab tests during the 2-hour event.

“A lot of people had already downloaded their paperwork and that helps a lot,” said Herrer.

Blunt said Aunt Martha’s processes the tests and should have results within 3-5 days.

The event was held in the south parking lot at Centennial Grade School.
