Traffic accidents
A three-vehicle accident involving Zachary Ballerini, 31, of Spring Valley; Emily Slonek, 34, of Ottawa and Cortney B. Donovan, 26, of Princeton occurred in the intersection of Routes 89 and 6 at 4:10 p.m. Nov. 10.
A two-vehicle accident involving Scott Raineri, 33, of Spring Valley and Mary Caldera, 62, of Spring Valley occurred in the intersection of Marquette Road and Dalzell Street at 6:43 p.m. Nov. 12.
Possession of controlled substance
Following an investigation, Robert H. Claggett, 34, of Spring Valley was arrested at his resident following the execution of a search warrant in the 300 block of East Saint Paul Street at 6:30 a.m. Nov. 12. He was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. The Spring Valley Police were assisted by Tri-DENT in the investigation and the Illinois State Police SWAT team in the execution of the search warrant.

A two-vehicle accident involving Jorgeanne Schramm, 44, of Bureau and Trey Barker, 53, of Princeton occurred on Route 26 near Interstate 180, southeast of Princeton, at 8:41 a.m. Nov. 12.
A vehicle driven by Dean Blair, 28, of Sheffield was involved in an accident on Route 6 near 1500 East Street near Princeton at 11:30 p.m. Nov. 13.

DUI
Following a traffic accident, Danny Jaggers, 43, of Tiskilwa was charged with driving under the influence, driving while license revoked/suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and illegal operation of an ATV in the 600 block of West Brewster Street in Tiskilwa at 6:11 p.m. Nov. 12.
Theft/criminal trespass
Stuart Ahrens, 42, of Princeton was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid drivers license and Donald Bird, 56, of Princeton was charged with theft of $500 or less and criminal trespass to vehicle in the 16000 block of 2500 East Street in Princeton at 4:47 p.m. Nov. 13.
