Holiday tradition – Batavia Boy Scouts begin Christmas tree sale

Batavia Boy Scout Troop 12 will present its annual Christmas tree sale beginning at 1 p.m. Nov. 22 and running until Dec. 19 or when the evergreens are all sold out. It's been a tradition for more than 60 years.

They will be on Route 25, south of Wilson Street and next to the Batavia Skate Park, 411 S. River St., on the east side of the Fox River.

The Scouts will assist with selecting, baling and tying down the fresh, pre-cut trees. Wreaths also are available.

Hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 5 to 9 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday; and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. They accept cash, checks and credit cards.

Masks and social distancing will be required this year. For more information, visit www.bataviatroop12.org.
