NIU men's basketball preview: NIU vs. SIU-Edwardsville

NIU men vs. SIU-Edwardsville

Records: Huskies 0-1, Cougars 1-2

Last game: The Huskies led by 22 in a 65-61 loss to UIC. The Cougars beat St. Louis College of Pharmacy Eutectics, 80-45.

Last meeting: The Huskies won on the road last year, 68-64, to take a 3-1 lead in the all-time series.

Keep an eye on: Mike Adewunmi leads the Cougars with 13 points per game and is 4 for 8 from 3-point range. Daruis Beane scored 12 in the last meeting between the teams.

Of note: NIU also added a game Saturday at Pittsburgh. It replaces a game scheduled against DePaul on Thursday that was canceled.
