Putnam County United Methodist churches will host blood drive Dec. 21

MCNABB — The Putnam County United Methodist churches will host a community blood drive from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, at the McNabb Fire Department Hall, 391 N. Route 89.

Everyone is invited to donate blood in memory of Brian Johnson, who was known for his big heart, spending time with family and friends, and always willing to lend a helping hand in the community.

For an appointment, call 800-RED-CROSS (800-733-2767) or visit RedCrossBlood.org. You can save up to 15 minutes when you donate blood by using RapidPass!. All donations are tested for COVID-19 antibodies. Plasma from antibody-positive donations may help current coronavirus patients in need.
