'Tis the Season: Plan your holidays with this calendar of events

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic there still are plenty of holiday sights and sounds to enjoy this season. Here’s a list of local events to help you plan. Be sure to check online before attending for up-to-date information.

Friday, Dec. 18

Saturday, Dec. 19

• Breakfast with Santa Drive-by: 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Genoa Park District, 400 E. Second St. in Genoa. Grab and go breakfast and picture with Santa; $10 first child, $5 each additional child. Register at genoaparkdistrict.com.

• Santa House: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the corner of West Main and Monroe streets in Genoa. A shield will separate children and Santa and the seat will be sanitized. Santa’s house also has a mail slot to drop off letters.
