To keep the holiday spirit alive in this unusual year, Plano High School will stream its 2020 Madrigals performance online.
Featuring 35 PHS singers, actors and musicians, this year's show was partially recorded in the school auditorium with the rest to be filmed individually at home.
"Since schools were placed on an adaptive pause, our amazing fine arts students were interrupted in the middle of their rehearsal schedule," a Facebook statement read. "They decided as a full cast that they wanted to continue rehearsals and record our production virtually."
Promotional videos for the concert include an invitation from the court jester, and a sample of the costumed students singing.
The show will stream at 6 p.m. Dec. 12, and at 4 p.m. Dec. 13. Tickets per streaming device cost $5, with tickets for sale through www.showtix4u.com. Once tickets are purchased, an email will be sent with a link to start the stream at the designated time and date.
