A Woodstock resident suffered a small cut to his chest Thursday during a domestic situation with his roommate, police said.
The Woodstock Police Department and Woodstock Fire Rescue District responded at 10:48 a.m. Thursday to an apartment in the 300 block of Short Street.
Police determined that one of the residents, Charles D. Hillary, cut his roommate with a small kitchen-style knife, Woodstock Deputy Police Chief Jeffrey Parsons said. The alleged victim suffered a small laceration to his chest and is expected to recover, Parsons said.
Two people were taken to area hospitals with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, Woodstock Fire Captain Scott Nieman said.
Officers arrested Hillary on two counts of domestic battery and took him to the McHenry County Jail, Parsons said.
Additional details about the situation were not immediately available and Hillary's booking photo had not yet been posted to the county jail's website as of Thursday evening.
