NIU women's basketball preview: Ohio Bobcats at NIU Huskies

NIU women's basketball vs. Ohio Bobcats

When: 6 p.m. Wednesday, NIU Convocation Center, DeKalb

Records: NIU 2-3, 0-1 MAC; Ohio 2-1, 0-1 MAC

Last game: NIU fell, 79-71, at Bradley. Ohio lost 84-80 at Kent State.

Last meeting: The Bobcats have won the last five in the series, including 88-79 at DeKalb on Jan. 22.

Keep an eye on: Erica Johnson led the Bobcats with 29 at the Flashes on Friday, while Cece Hooks added 23. The duo are 1-2 in scoring in the MAC. ... Chelby Koker is averaging 19.8 points per game, tops on the team for NIU.

Also: NIU leds the MAC with 11.3 3-poitners per game. and are fourth in the country. ... Mikayla Brandon notched her first career double-double at Bradley with a career-high 13 points to go with 14 rebounds. ... The NIU bench is averaging 24.8 points per game.
