Attempted burglary

An attempted burglary reportedly occurred between Dec. 2 and 9 in the 1000 block of Creekside Drive. Pry marks reportedly were found on the rear sliding door of the residence, but no entry was gained.

Battery

• Aaron J. Smith, 24, of the 1400 block of Stonebridge Circle, Wheaton, was charged at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 27 with domestic battery and unlawful interference with the reporting of domestic violence in the 1400 block of Stonebridge Circle.

• Joseph J. Cascio, 47, of the 1600 block of Leytonstone Drive, Wheaton, was charged at 1:22 p.m. Dec. 8 with domestic battery in the 1600 block of Leytonstone Drive.

• Valerie D. McGrath, 19, of the zero to 100 block of Greenview Avenue, Warrenville, was charged at 3:20 p.m. Dec. 7 with battery at Wheaton Police Department, 900 W. Liberty Drive.

• Alexis P. Raygoza, 26, of the 300 block of Ash Lane, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 6:46 p.m. Dec. 6 with battery at the Wheaton Police Department, 900 W. Liberty Drive.

Burglary

An unsecured vehicle reportedly was entered at 4:58 p.m. Dec. 3 while it was in the open garage of a residence in the 1300 block of North Scott Street. Nothing was reported taken.

Disorderly conduct

John H. Erickson, 54, of the 700 block of West Liberty Drive, Wheaton, was charged at 9 a.m. Dec. 4 with disorderly conduct in the 400 block of West Front Street.

DUI

• Mike G. Delgado, 29, of the 300 block of Hill Avenue, Aurora, was charged at 9:38 p.m. Dec. 7 with driving under the influence of alcohol at Arbor Avenue and Illinois Prairie Path.

• Zachary W. Hand, 35, of the 500 block of Taylor Avenue, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 2:24 a.m. Dec. 4 with driving under the influence of alcohol at Main Street and Roosevelt Road.

Theft

• Christina P. Dumitrache, 31, of the 2900 block of West Palmer Street, Chicago, was charged at 3:50 p.m. Dec. 2 with retail theft at Wheaton Police Department, 900 W. Liberty Drive.

• A Harley Davidson motorcycle reportedly was stolen between Oct. 1 and Nov. 1 while it was parked in a parking lot in the 2000 block of Golfview Court.

• Reginald D. Jackson, 23, of the 4000 block of West 105th Street, Oak Lawn, was charged at 4:50 p.m. Dec. 8 with theft, possession of drug equipment and unlawful possession of a debit card at Famous Footwear, 124 Danada Square West.

• John J. Stanaway, 23, of the 500 block of Pershing Avenue, Wheaton, was charged at 5:07 p.m. Dec. 5 with theft at 7-Eleven/Exxon Mobile, 625 W. Roosevelt Road.

• Alex Bueno, 18, of the 500 block of Carriage Drive, West Chicago, was charged at 3:55 p.m. Dec. 5 with retail theft at Kohl’s, 401 S. County Farm Road.

• Several iPhones reportedly were stolen at 10:48 a.m. Dec. 8 at T-Mobile, 801 E. Butterfield Road.

• Clothing reportedly was stolen between 3:10 and 3:15 p.m. Dec. 5 at Carter’s, 132 Danada Square West.
