Bears linebacker Roquan Smith and receiver Darnell Mooney sat out practice Wednesday after suffering injuries in Sunday’s loss to the Green Bay Packers.
Smith suffered a left elbow injury in the first half Sunday, while Mooney injured his ankle in the fourth quarter. In his session with the media Wednesday, Bears coach Matt Nagy declined to provide any further information on the status of Smith or Mooney.

Wednesday’s practice was a walk-through, so the team’s practice report was an estimate.
Bears receiver and return man Cordarrelle Patterson missed Wednesday’s practice for a personal reason. Defensive back Buster Skrine also remained out due to a concussion.
Cornerback Jaylon Johnson returned to practice in a limited capacity. That should give Bears fans a glimmer of hope that Johnson might return this week for a Wild Card round playoff game against the New Orleans Saints.
Johnson hasn’t played since injuring his shoulder on Dec. 13 against the Houston Texans. He has not practiced in that time either.
