While the Bears rookies will be at Halas Hall this weekend for rookie minicamp, head coach Matt Nagy will not.
Nagy is a high-risk close contact to someone in his family who tested positive for COVID-19, according to a report from the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Nagy will participate in rookie minicamp virtually. All meetings at this time are being held virtually anyway. Per Rapoport, Nagy is in the process of being vaccinated but isn’t fully vaccinated at this time.
#Bears coach Matt Nagy is a high-risk close contact for a family member who tested positive for COVID-19 & at the start he’ll participate virtually in on-field activity during this week’s rookie minicamp. Per NFL protocols, all meetings will be virtual, anyway. He’ll lead those.
