Chicago Bears injury report: Teven Jenkins misses practice Monday

Jenkins left Sunday’s game with nagging calf injury

Chicago Bears guard Teven Jenkins is helped off the field after being injured during their game against the New England Patriots Sunday, Nov. 10, 2024, at Soldier Field in Chicago.

The Bears quickly got back to work Monday after losing to the Detroit Lions the day before. They’re set to play their third game in 11 days Thursday when they host the Seattle Seahawks at Soldier Field.

The team held a walkthrough Monday because of the quick turnaround so Monday’s injury report was an estimate from the Bears training staff.

Offensive lineman Teven Jenkins (calf) didn’t practice Monday after leaving Sunday’s game with an injury. The Bears will already be short a lineman for the rest of the season after left tackle Braxton Jones was ruled out of the rest of the season after he suffered an ankle injury Sunday. Bears interim head coach Thomas Brown said there’s a possibility that Jenkins could play Thursday.

Running back Travis Homer (hamstring), safeties Elijah Hicks (ankle/foot) and Tarvarius Moore (knee) and linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga (hip) all also didn’t practice. Defensive tackle Gervon Dexter (knee) and offensive lineman Doug Kramer (shoulder) were both limited in practice after missing Sunday’s game.
