Detroit Lions offensive line coach Hank Fraley is staying in Detroit to become the offensive coordinator for head coach Dan Campbell, per multiple reports.

The longtime O-line coach will not be leaving for opportunities in Seattle or with Ben Johnson in Chicago.

The good news for the Bears, though, is that Johnson has landed Lions wide receiver coach Antwaan Randle El as his assistant head coach and wide receivers coach in Chicago, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Randle El, who won Super Bowl XL with the Steelers as a player, has been on the Lions' coaching staff since 2021. He was a three-sport star at Thornton in Harvey during the late 1990s.

Johnson also is bringing along Cowboys defensive backs coach Al Harris as defensive passing game coordinator and defensive backs coach, per Schefter.

Harris, a longtime Packers cornerback, has coached defensive backs in Dallas since 2020. He was previously on Andy Reid’s staff in Kansas City.

Johnson has yet to hire an offensive or defensive coordinator, as of Friday evening.
