LAKE FOREST – Khalil Mack remains absent from Bears practice.
The Pro Bowl pass rusher did not participant Wednesday, when the team was required to release its first injury report of the week. Mack has missed two games because of a foot injury. He has not played since the team’s loss to Tampa Bay on Oct. 24.
Bears head coach Matt Nagy declined to give any update on Mack when asked about it earlier this week.
Defensive tackle Akiem Hicks (ankle), safety Eddie Jackson (hamstring), receiver Allen Robinson (hamstring), linebacker Danny Trevathan (knee) and offensive tackle Elijah Wilkinson (back) also sat out with injuries. Tight end Jimmy Graham took a rest day.
Hicks and Jackson both missed the team’s most recent game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Nov. 8. Robinson has dealt with minor injuries for much of the season, but hasn’t missed a game.
Starting inside linebacker Alec Ogletree (ankle) and running back Damien Williams (knee) also were sidelined against Pittsburgh. Both, however, returned to practice Wednesday in a limited capacity. Receiver Darnell Mooney (foot) also was limited Wednesday.
Tight end J.P. Holtz returned from concussion protocol and was a full participant Wednesday. Kicker Cairo Santos has an elbow injury but also was a full participant.
The Bears face the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday at Soldier Field.
