LAKE FOREST – The Bears held another walk-through ahead of Thursday’s game against the Detroit Lions. It was not a fully-padded practice, but had it been, the team said receiver Allen Robinson would not have practiced.
Robinson spoke with the media Tuesday and said his ailing hamstring is “getting better.” He did not play on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens.
Quarterback Justin Fields (ribs), defensive tackle Akiem Hicks (ankle) and running back Damien Williams (calf) also would’ve sat out practice. Safety Eddie Jackson (hamstring) and receiver Darnell Mooney (foot) would’ve been limited.
Bears coach Matt Nagy has already announced that Andy Dalton will start in place of rookie Justin Fields on Thursday.
