Ron Onesti, president and CEO of Onesti Entertainment and the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, announces two holiday-inspired livestreams this weekend, each committed to keeping the #MusicStrong this season.
The Ides of March band members will perform their 25th annual “Sharing Christmas” show at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, an event historically played to a sold-out crowd at the Arcada Theatre. Although this year looks quite different with the band performing live from Jim Peterik’s basement studio, it surely won’t disappoint viewers of this free livestream, Onesti stated in a news release.
And at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, the empty Arcada Theatre will host Trans Infinity Orchestra, featuring holiday favorites and a taste of Journey. The show will feature the same extravagant light show and energizing songs fans love, delivered right into viewers’ homes. There is a $15 fee to purchase the livestream link.
“Since shutting our doors in March, I have been committed to keeping the music going for ours fans,” Onesti stated. “I get several notes each day from fans that are truly missing live music. Hosting close to 100 livestreamed events since March is my way of giving back to those that support us each and every day. The Ides of March and Infinity are always crowd favorites. I am happy to be able to provide the music fans love, and bring some joy into their homes.”
Onesti said he has plans to add several livestreams in the upcoming year, with high hopes of being able to host live shows soon.
