The Elgin Symphony Orchestra presents performances of the Mozart Requiem and other works this weekend at the Hemmens Cultural Center in Elgin.
The performances take place at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 5, and 3 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at 45 Symphony Way. They feature guest vocalists and The Adrian Dunn Singers. Matthew Halls conducts. A pre-concert chat begins one hour before each concert.
The guest vocalists are Amanda Forsythe, soprano; Amanda Crider, mezzo-soprano; James Reese, tenor; and Jonathan Woody, bass-baritone.
The concert program also includes music by Thomas Tallis and Vaughan Williams.
