The group will celebrate not only the new inductees' achievements at a gala, but also the 2020 honorees, including Jeff Hunt, founder of the St. Charles Singers, and portrait artist Vincent Chiaramonte of Campton Hills.
David Sedaris, who will deliver a 60-minute reading from his new collection of personal essays at the November event in Crystal Lake, is the author of bestsellers like “Calypso,” “Theft By Finding,” “Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls,” and “Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk.”
The drive-thru event will be at the Kendall County Community Food Pantry, 208 Beaver St. in Yorkville.
Marengo's Settlers' Days is returning in October for its 52nd year with more bands and fireworks.
